For the lazy folks: Crack egg on top of pizza, then heat in oven.
Stack two slices. Boom. Double pizza.
The key to all of these strategies is giving your child some decision making power. If they don’t choose to donate or swap, you’re just confiscating the candy. That’s your right as a parent, but not the best way to build trust. On the other hand, if they choose to give it away, they’re learning to balance their hunger…
You should be tipping the hair stylist *at least* 25% — more if you’re making a social event of it. All that time you take to set up your snacks, pour your mimosas and gush over which style your MOH should get is literally taking money out of the stylist’s pocket. The first few tips are the worst, but then your endorphins kick in and it’s not so bad.
Ha! I recently took a friend for her first time. She agreed it wasn’t nearly as bad as she anticipated it to be and actually continues to go!
Have you ever had it done yourself? It hurts, but honestly not as bad as you imagine it does. It also gets easier over time. The more frequently you do it, the less hair there is to rip out and, thus, it’s less painful. You also sort of get used to the feeling.
