Unfortunately, he will absolutely work again. the article even states he’s *still* working with Fox, albeit in a consulting role. This will probably not really impact him all that much, in terms of day-to-day and income.

Victim of harassment gets a settlement of half of what her harasser gets. Is this what Common Core math has wrought?
She apparently has audio of the harassment, so they had no choice.
That’s some serious boys’ club bullshit right there.
He’s an acquired taste.
Dylan I think diminishes quite a bit because of his longevity. As ghoulish as it is to say, Hendrix or Joplin never had the chance to become old and bored and jaded. Dylan has sounded to me for many years now like someone who ran out of not only things to say but also the desire to want to say something. At some point…
I honestly have no idea what OP’s full position on the subject is. However, I really don’t think OP meant to have a detailed conversation. I can also understand Persnickety’s frustration despite not knowing them beyond seeing their name show up in comments on occasion. Rape is a sensitive subject, and a lot of people…
Brock Turner is scum, but I’m not really that into cismen with arms and aggro signs protesting on women’s behalf, like they are my guardian and exempt from rape culture.
If a bunch of MRAs want to show up at your house and start protesting you by vaguely threatening to mutilate your genitals and kill you, you’d be okay with it? I don’t know if a sidewalk in front of a residential home constitutes public space, but I would be super okay with it being considered private for this very…
Perhaps it will help to encourage people to oppose open carry laws? So two birds with one stone, I guess?
Not in the eyes of California law he didn’t. He sexually assaulted her.
Those open carry dudes are co-opting the situation to advertise their 2A agenda, preying on fear.
Seriously leave this guy alone. You might not like it but you cannot take the law in your own hands. He served his ‘time’ just move on.
Plus not everyone on the sex registry list deserves to be there as not all people on there are the same. Reason magazine had a fantastic article about the varying degrees of offenders. A couple of them ended up marrying their victims because there were statutory rape laws involved. Another guy was on there because he…
There’s so much to dislike about this. I mean, they’re calling for castration as punishment. That’s a barbaric and cruel violation of... basically everything. It’s about as sickening as those people who want prisoners to be sexually assaulted like it’s somehow an official part of our legal system. Also, would the…
I doubt it’s really about Facebook likes. It’s about patting themselves on the back. Working for real and lasting change is often thankless and more time consuming. Spending a couple of days perched outside the target of public hate is much easier and more visible.
I don’t agree with this at all. Mob justice is never a solution. How about they protest their courts and work to change a justice system that gave this POS 6 months, down to 3 for good behaviour. Also, they are still trying to recall that judge so California peeps sign the petition to recall him.
How fortunate for society that when the justice system falls short of our expectations there will always be cretins and sociopaths on hand to entirely miss the fucking point.
Nobody should be celebrating this “protest.” Those people need to go and fight to get the sentencing guidelines changed. It sucks but it’s too late, Turner gets to get away with sexual assault because a judge cared more about him than the girl he assaulted.
Hate this little shit but cannot condone this. There are innocent people living in that neighborhood who don’t deserve a bunch of armed vigilantes hanging around looking for trouble.
