Clearly, she’s breathing through her skin.
Clearly, she’s breathing through her skin.
Yeah, that one made me wince, but seeing as so many other examples of women in armor are friggin’ awesome, I’m wondering if that was a specific request made on the part of the game developer. Still dumb, but at least the cool examples outnumber the shitty ones!
More like “good thing as a man it’s very easy to overlook minor discomforts regarding the sexual objectification of women.”
This scene actively bothered me. Quiets outfit bothers me enough as-is, but the way all the cut scenes focus on her tits and then she poses around in that cage while two men stare at her.
More mystifying that they didn’t also announce Pokémon Stop. I mean, isn’t that what they do? Red/Blue, X/Y.... Go/Stop?
I wish Kojima just said “because I want to dress her that way.” It seems like a more honest and less eye-roll worthy reason.
No, because it’s one of the worst justifications ever since we later see snipers similar to Quiet who are wearing a lot more clothing than her. That scene basically broke the justification for me. I don’t understand why it’s even included since that’s the only part of the game they’re in.
The reason Quiet wears that bikini outfit is that she breathes through her skin, using photosynthesis to absorb air, water, and nutrients. She has to do this because her body is infested with parasites.
Not at all. Because at the end of the day, Kojima wanted her to be naked. He wanted her to be exposed and just because he came up with a contrived “reason” for her to be so exposed doesn’t change his motivation at all. I’m feeling fine about my words and deeds. How’s Kojima feeling about his?
Well now that I know they created a ridiculous explanation to justify themselves giving the only female combat character a ridiculous outfit I feel very silly and ashamed.
No fucks given.
Another one of those stories that absolutely needs security footage but you get none.
Adding an Aeris lives “route” (or storyline) - 32.6 percent
Was anyone surprised? Of course this was going to be shit
Dramatic changes especially to the battle system sound perfectly fine to me. The story is the place where they shouldn’t change too much, except maybe for the mid-game pacing. A fresh take on a classic is exactly what SE needs to deliver or most people will secretly go “meh” while laudating the effort to modernize.
Still can’t figure how SMT x FE = FFX-2
That doesn’t mean a game can be made (that fully utilizes everything). You can have a character walking around but to have multiple particles flying around, multiple characters, open areas, little to none loading times, etc with these graphics and at a constant rate is going to take a lot.
FFXIV offers a potion called Fantasia that lets you change your character’s race/sex, after creation. She’s been playing as a Roedan, but it saying that she really wants to be a Lalafell. When her friend (?) says that they’ll love her no matter what, she feels free to make the change.
You can race change in Final Fantasy 14(the new MMO) by drinking a Fantasia, so if you don’t like the race/gender you are currently playing, you can hold on to a free one you get after playing for a month or you can buy one.
