I don’t mind, and even expect, local broadcasters to pull for the team they cover. That’s only natural and expected and has made for some of the greatest calls in all of sports broadcasting. Not to diminish what you are saying, but the can may have been covered in tape to avoid legality or product placement issues. Generally if some brand hasn’t paid to have their product displayed they will try to make sure it doesn’t get any visibility.
You joke, but some people in this country have to work real jobs. You know what my dad did for 40 years? He worked for Rent a Center. He didn’t get to sit back and play agent, he had to move microwave ovens. He had to deliver kitchens...WHOLE, CUSTOM KITCHENS! He had to move refrigerators AND color TVs.
