1000X Yes. Nothing sadder than a "modded" CRX. Even worse is an HF with the go-fast goodies. Sad. People, put down your JC Whitney catalogs and leave the cars alone. Car companies have engineers and designers that know a lot more than you do.

Years ago I had a girlfriend who purchased a pre-owned car from a Ford dealer who attached the dealer badge with sheet metal screws through the back of the trunk lid. This was apparently standard practice at the time. I suppose since it was applied prior to the sale that there wasn't much someone could do or would do

Poor guy. Shame on anyone who chuckles at this guy's misfortune. That said, I hope he has the cash to cover the repairs, which will not be cheap.

Having had both W123 and W126 cars I like the simplicity of the W123, but a well-maintained W126 is no less wonderful.

The V cars are fun, no doubt about it. Gobs of power and RWD are a fun combination. Sadly this is a combo that we'll likely see wane and disappear in the coming years as smaller displacement engines and fossil fuel alternatives take center stage.

This should include vehicles that have spent any part of their lives in Florida. If humidity and heat are a factor, this should be all-encompassing. No part of the East Coast is a stranger to humidity.

Porsche, please do this. Please.

I like and hate that seasons and series both describe the same thing. I prefer seasons because it is what I'm familiar with, though series makes much more sense.

I love this for all its rednecky goodness.

I anticipate the depreciation curve of the SLS to flatten sooner as a result of this move. The SLS AMG wasn't perfect, no car is. However, I'll take its brawn and bravado and maniacal handling when its at the edge.

These cars truly are awesome feats of engineering. What the W123 didn't offer in speed and performance it gives back in timeless looks and true bulletproof reliability. No car is immune to disrepair and neglect, but these things keep on ticking like nobody's business.

Mercedes-Benz, please take my money.

Agreed. Given the reception that the C7 has recieved, I wouldn't be surprised to see an extended shelf life.

Haven't we already seen this car?

With Wayne Newton on my side, all I can say is bring it.

Was that warning on NES games too? The picture above is N64.

I think that for the social buzz achieved by this graphic they should have plonked down the dough for a genuine wrap.

It wasn't fun. It wasn't funny. It just wasn't good.

I don't blame Chevy Chase for the demise of wagons, nor the success of minivans. I do blame him for signing on to do National Lampoon's European Vacation and Vegas Vacation. Bury me with copies of Vacation and Christmas Vacation.

Woulda, coulda, shoulda. This could have been great. An LWB 126 wagon would have been the way to go.
