None of this is to disparage anyone who is making an honest living and providing a valuable service. I don't knock people for their career choices. However, in my experience highly educated or otherwise skilled workers choose the profession. Of course this is probably a horrible blanket stereotype, but there's

I have yet to meet a new car salesperson that comes across as someone who worked their whole lives to get that coveted new car sales job.

This wasn't an "average" Mercedes-Benz at the time. A /8 was more standard particularly in a 220 or 220D variant. The SEL was primo and still is. Today's S Class is often the pinnacle of technology. Much of the S class tech only trickles down to other models and brands over a 5 to 10 year period.

Dad? Is that you?

Wasn't this the Jolly that passed through Wayne Carini's hands?
