A stock version of the Puch Magnum was my first ride. It was among my favorites. 2HP was plenty of power when I was 15.

No caption for the stacks?

Jay Leno, please allow me to give this lady the time and attention she deserves.

I now know how "Iron Eyes Cody" feels.

Wow, even the passenger compartment becomes a crumple zone.

The lack of success of the Ridgeline is due to the push and pull of want and need. The truck market has grown because of its ability to cater to the want, rather than the need for the majority of the casual truck-using market. The Raptor is the truck you get want. The Ridgeline is the truck you actually need.

Props to Nat Geo for the front-end inpsiration.

Travis, I recall that piece and I enjoyed it. In fact I enjoy most of what you write. I'm not in the camp of people that believe that a manual transmission is the only option to having a enjoyable car.

This is like posting, "down with the manual transmission." Travis, you've surely got something better to do than to troll parents with this nonsense. However, to your point I'll say that before I was a parent, my perspective was similar.

Still disappointed to see a FWD MB for the US market. Seems superfluous.

Add these two to the list.

There will come a time when carbon fiber and brushed aluminum will look passe. These days much of finish preference seems to come from the aftermarket. 15 years ago cf was still exotic, now it seems common place. Soon it will seem played out as a finish, though I think we're yet to see its application in construction.
