Seriously. Despite most of The Rise of Skywalker taking place on the planets Exegol, Tattooine and Kijimi, it was shot entirely on Earth.  Lazy.

Yes.  It was perfectly non-specific.

How seriously is one supposed to take a film about animated food orgies?

Why does the supposed link to see the trailer, instead of going to the tweet of Nicki’s announcement, actually go to the profile of a random dude who happened to Quote Tweet Nicki’s announcement?

When I went to see Love & Thunder, the pre-show announcement said “Don’t talk, don’t text and keep your clothes on”, which the fact they felt they had to say the last part tells me folks have really lost a sense of how to behave in the movie theater.

The final form of BrundleFly.

I mean, you’re not wrong, but where does REO Speedwagon fit in your ranking?

Eleven saw the whole planning session with the Hawkins gang, which included Robin going all “Henry/Vecna/One”, and we can presume she gave the Pizza Van gang a more thorough briefing off screen.

Well, after it had been significantly roasted with a flamethrower. It was already softened up a bit for him.

I honestly can’t think of a mainstream movie where the concept is ‘main character has a threesome’ that doesn’t have there be dire consequences, spiraling flame-out or deep trauma for all three people involved.  Honestly, can there be one that’s just “Hey, that was fun” and no one’s life is shattered?

Since the folks on TikTok call it “being an accountant”, the metaphor fits.

From what I understand, they knew while making the second season that they wouldn’t get a third.  That’s why the speed of historical events is in hyperdrive for the back half.

Honestly, every scene where it showed the office floor and folks working and the “idea” room with the beanchairs and all, I’m just thinking, “What are they actually DOING every day?”

I don’t mind Lana’s marriage trouble, but it’s a subplot that screams, “We hired these people as series regulars so we need to do something with them.”

To be fair, it’s a very hard role.

Another BIG clue? There’s the episode where Ted’s about to marry Stella, and he says, “Of course, if I had married Stella, things would be different right now” and it flashes to a alt-2030's Stella coming in and saying, “He’s still telling you that old story?”, which, in retrospect, said, “If your mother was here

The vibe from Yelena was very, “You, Kate Bishop, are out of your league and I won’t let you stop me, but also I like you and I want to be supportive of how you’re doing right now, because you are doing very good, considering.”

They did the equivalent of hiring a renowned baker, bringing him into a kitchen with a half-finished beef stew and saying, “Here are your ingredients, make a cake like that other one you made.”

I find the “Giant CGI Spectacle” complaint aimed at Black Widow very strange, because they only part that even remotely qualifies as that is the skyfall/crashing sequence, which all told is about 45 seconds of the film. I can see the argument aimed at Shang-Chi, but it almost seems like people saw the falling-fight exi

But let’s do a head count here. Your brother, the demigod. A super soldier, living legend who kinda lives up to the legend. A man with breathtaking anger management issues. A couple of master assassins and YOU, big fella, you’ve managed to piss off every single one of them.”
