I have a question as to whether or not I'm allowed an opinion and a voice! Submitted for Andrea Tantaros' approval (I'll be waiting quietly in the meantime):
Teaching young kids that they have a right over their own bodies is so important. It's not enough to teach kids to say stop when someone touches them inappropriately. They may not even be able to identify inappropriate touching because their internal compass has been messed with.

Don't let the door hit you, dear. In fact, leave it open for a writer with a clue to come on in. Thanks.
Haha, nice try.
One hundred percent agree. If you're interested, the author is defending herself quite poorly here: http://jezebel.com/own-your-actio…
You are certainly owning your own actions mocking a rape victim.
Wow. Her boyfriend got her too drunk to consent! What is wrong with you?
Well said.
Nell, your "joke":
Stunned that a writer on Jezebel would believe that what legally sounds like date-rape isn't actually rape because the 17-year-old, culturally and religiously insulated young woman said so. She described her virginity being stolen, then changed her story after the media picked it up. I think it's not unreasonable to…
Nell Scovell responded to me as to her reasoning for including that passage in this post. I'm surprised, to say the least. If we were in person, stunned silence, shaking my head, and walking away would work:
Wow. I'm stunned by your response, on this website no less.
Nell, a bunch of us in the comments are wondering why you used the passage referencing Bristol's probable rape. If you don't want to explain your rationale for including it, would you consider removing it from the chart? Under trauma-induced amnesia. Thanks.
Exactly. What was the author of this post thinking in referencing that?
But you left sanctimonious! (she cried). After you so generously explained to me what being a public figure is. ;)
"sanctimonious little fucklick"
No, I didn't read Bristol's book. But I remember reading about it when it first came out. Even Jezebel picked up the excerpt where it sounded like Bristol was date-raped. Bristol herself denied this, but at the risk of being a concern-troll, I don't think she knows what she is talking about and I would call what…
Really? Because other folks seemed to have understood. But you're not sure, so I'll help - I did not mean that Bristol Palin literally asked Jezebel to write a post comparing her memoir to Malala's. I mean that Bristol did not invite the comparison (to my knowledge) with recent comments to the media, expressing her…
