I think according to the brochure, the Nurburgring is just a “one way toll road with no speed limit”.

You know, the tour bus that was on the ring while I was there wasn’t taking a racing line either for some reason! 

I definitely had no idea this was coming up, but I am totally stoked. Steamworld can do no wrong! 

I think my favorite episode was episode 3: the downsizers. Even though the woman was bearing the brunt of the burden, it felt like each family member acknowledged it and wanted things to change. The family seemed very genuine and kind to one another in way that seems rare somehow.

It certainly got easier to watch…

I agree that the first episode was very hard to watch and maybe set a much more serious tone than intended. But wanting to turn away from sexism doesn’t make it not exist, It felt like some real honest television to me.

I think I quit after the review where he spent several minutes on the toilet on camera.

I mean, Hitler and Stalin were both Time “Person of the year” at one point...

I ate sugary cereal as a kid, but I don’t have much of a sweet tooth. I am still fat AF, but it’s other carbs that get me.

I agree, that some places can be overbearing, but I find those places to mostly be “corporate” type places.

I am talking about coming by just once or twice after you are received your food to check on the table, you don’t even have to say anything, you can just make eye contact and scan the table for any significant…

TBH though, in my experience, dining out in countries where the server doesn’t expect a tip, means service sucks typically. YMMV

Yeah, but how often are you going out to eat? I eat out a lot (trying to eat out less) and I tip generously, I am legitimately afraid to calculate the amount I probably spend on tips, because it is likely in the thousands of dollars... 

I was just thinking about this actually. CA is raising the minimum wage, some cities already have, we also pay our servers minimum wage + tips. The cost is being passed on by increasing prices at the restaurant which in turn means the basis for my tip is higher, which means I am being hit up twice.... hmm.
