I once took a world leader quiz and learned I would be a benevolent dictator. 

I hate to defend him, but I believe he declined his salary. Then again, he doesn't have to pay for food, housing, transportation, etc.

Well said. People just donate clothes, for example, thinking someone else will use them. Many items end up being sent overseas, where they are burned. 

To that I add, this will end up in a landfill when I die. Do I really need it? 

Haha, I donated mine to the office, which has the same ones for meetings. 

For clothes that can no longer be worn, see if you can recycle them somewhere. H&M takes them to be turned into furniture stuffing etc.

Indian mangoes (alphonso, specifically) are worth the investment, if you get a good one. They tend to spoil quickly.
