I was surprised that she's only a year older than me. 

Not all tablets are supposed to be crushed. And cats can tell if it's in their food. 

I bought one but it's a bit too big for my cat's mouth - and the pills. Just ordered a smaller one from amazon. Fingers crossed! 

My cat had a tumour in her jaw. The vet tech just happened to feel it while we were there for something else. It grew quickly and I would have noticed it myself within a couple of weeks. It was terrible. I ended up putting her to sleep 7 weeks later (she was on painkillers during this time), but I think I waited too…

Thanks for that valuable piece of advice. I've been trying to get pills down my cat's throat and not caring if he bites, just as long as he takes his meds. I'll be more careful now! 

Oh man. My oldest boy has a brain tumour and requires 5 pills a day. I can sometimes get away with hiding each one in a small amount of Fancy Feast, but he doesn’t always finish each chunk, then the pills dissolve and go to waste. I don't think that's a fair characterization. Some parents are open with their kids from a young age. Not everything has to end in a confrontation.

I got some bad news this week. My cat was diagnosed with a brain tumour. I’ve had him for 10 years and can’t imagine my life without him...

I’m so glad we don’t have to deal with crap like this in Canada. When we don't get paid, it's due to our disastrous pay system!
