Could be straight up sandbagging - they’d rather have the “but real world is better” commentary than the “be careful when cold/hot” that Tesla gets. And because the ratings are fairly tightly regulated, the only way to sandbag is go the more conservative testing strategy.

I think we’re past peak attention needs, but age 3 is still pretty terrible for being able to productively occupy themselves. I feel bad for my friends with a 2yo, worse in general for those with two under, say, 5.
