Why does it matter? seriously as a White male who has always been taught that race doesn’t matter I’ve become incredibly confused by the message of equality when people complain that someone isn’t the right race for whatever position they’re in (whether it’s Spider-man or apparently Miss South Africa). I get that

The only way I’m watching an all star game is if it’s cross sport. I want to see basketball players playing hockey, football players playing baseball, hockey players playing chess, etc.

Hmmm....

as someone who plays a ton of live/online poker, currently subscribes to sites for poker training and has a fairly high post count on 2+2 in poker related sections (not bragging about any of this, just proving that i really like poker), i think i can speak for everyone i know in the poker community and say: wtf are

ESPN and the rest focusing on the assholes, making them stars, played a large role in killing the poker boom. Phil Helmuth may be amusing, but when every 1-2 game at a casino had a couple dipshit wannabes playing it drove a lot of casual players away. Then a negative cycle started. Business slowed, casinos became even

its boring as shit without personalities like this. and i say this as a poker junkie who has played an ungodly amount of hands.

(“Don’t You Forget About Me” entrance music plays) (pro wrestling stories enter the arena)

I think every god damned e-sports and gaming story they’re now trying to ram down our throats beats this one by a mile.

Poker is a really fun game and interesting mental challenge that is completely drained of all its joy because of the low-lifes you inevitably have to play (no offense to Tom Bracy).

You’re making a pretty large leap there. And making the discussion personal. Must be that your shitty viewpoint can only be support by implausible examples like “The person that can’t live without something they’ve never had”.

I just feel bad for the dog when the next thing she “needs” comes along...and then it’s ‘fuck you dog, I’m going to that music festival and doggie hotels are too expensive’.

It’s not boyfriend over dog in a vacuum.

Assuming you care for and love your partner, then yes the things they are allergic to should matter. The fact that they don’t might be why your boyfriends remain temporary.

Am I supposed to never have a dog because my boyfriend is allergic? Dog > boy, always.

Are you suppose to “never” have a dog because of your “temporary” boyfriend? No. You get the dog when he is out of the picture. That feels like common sense.

There are hypoallergenic dog breeds, Labradoodles are one.

I know it’s an energy dome. He asked if it was a Devo hat. Rather than be THAT guy that corrects someone who asks an innocent question, I just said yes.

It’s a Devo hat. Devo is possibly my favorite band ever.

Adopting a pet you already know that your significant other is allergic to is one of the the most low-key passive-aggressive bullshit things I’ve ever heard.

holy shit! You can buy dogs that bite Lena Dunham? Sign me up.
