I really wanted one when getting my last car, but I ended up just buying the minivan (Transit Connect). The Flex was cooler in a lot of ways, just a tiny bit less practical, worse on gas, and more expensive.

I bought an old BMW from a lesbian yesterday. She has 8 others.
I suspect that you will see different advantages at different parts of the depreciation curve. Even if the BMW starts out ahead (which isn’t certain given the data upsidedownfunnel sites), I suspect that the Genesis might end up holding more value when both get to the market of people too cheap to pay for BMW…
I was going to mention this. I’m 6'3" and can wear a large hat without brushing the roof of my Transit Connect. Crazy headroom. It was actually one of the reasons I bought it as I built a a mini-camper module for the back of it and you can easily sleep on top of it while still keeping 18in tubs below. I also usually…
I think he’s actually saving his WRX for bad weather. Wouldn’t want to use it up on nice weather days.
The thing I love about Shake Shack is that as a vegetarian I can get a shroom burger, which is delicious, and be as gloriously unhealthy as my carnivore friends. If upscale fastfood burger places have a veggie option, it’s usually a compressed paddy that seems like it might have some nutritional value. I just want my…
I voted Nice Price by a hair. I wouldn’t personally buy it, but the seller is right: these things have a following with the off road camper, van life folks. Given that it’s 4x4, it looks in good condition, has a reasonable roof rack already installed, and has AT tires mounted on decent rough road rims, I think the…
I’m going to combine Patrick and Tom’s answers. For someone with your interests, a Transit Connect would be pretty ideal (assuming you’re not going to auctions looking for stamps). The regular wheelbase wagon has basically the same dimensions as the Focus, but has a huge, square cargo space with a low cargo floor…
You misunderstand. They just decided that the blue longer would look better in cream and the cream lounge would be better in blue.
I actually prefer the Transit Connect's driving dynamics to the Outback's. I cross shopped them in 2015 for similar bike loving reasons and ended up with the Ford.
I’m with you. The mods are tasteful and likely make it better to own but less valuable when you sell on.
This was my issue too. You have this powerful bike with a clearly skilled rider getting reeled in by the pursuing cars in places it should be dropping them.
It’s probably not how I’d spend my $32K, but I like it and it seems to be priced fairly for what it is. I can’t imagine it’s going to depreciate, so the price isn’t as big a deal if you have money to start with.
What’s a good car comparison between the smallest F150 and largest f350? (And do they count the even larger F trucks in this?)
“More importantly, this is the first mainstream plug-in that I’d actually recommend for families. Because the Clarity is even bigger than an Accord, there’s plenty of passenger and cargo room.”
I was actually thinking Klay might be ideal. Great catch and shoot player who works super hard off the ball. Good perimeter defender. LeBron wouldn’t have to adjust his game much at all.
I actually love these. I want an FG to put a camping focused box on the back and have a mini-4x4 motorhome.
I’ve actually been considering picking up an older Montero as an adventure vehicle as they’ve become ridiculously cheap. I hope Mitsubishi has a resurgence just for parts access.
but accepting a counter attack strategy basically concedes long term success.
