I really don’t like the front fascia on the XRT, but I’d still consider the XRT model. I’ve been casually considering the current Ioniq 5 as an eventual replacement for my current commuter/errand car, but the XRT trim would make it a bit better for the desert dirt roads around where I live and which are often

I actually feel the opposite in some ways. There are a few SSRs running around where I live and I think I like them more now when they came out. My son loves them (though he’s a 7 year old with Hot Wheels taste). I think that they are unique enough that I appreciate them even if they are not always good different.

I’m somewhat confused as to why they’re replacing the Audi? Is it experiencing problem or do they just imagine it isn’t reliable? For someone who works from home and doesn’t really drive much, the Audi breaking down seems relatively low risk, particularly when you already have a backup car in the Wrangler.

Or a list of opportunities for enthusiasts with a bit of mechanical ability and risk tolerance!

I’m a local and a car lover. Not a single person I know is excited for the Grand Prix and almost everyone is actively antagonistic toward it.

I drove part of the Leh-Manali highway in northern India on a motorcycle. It was June, I believe, and some parts were still melting out/being repaired from damage done in the winter. Tons of switchbacks with no guardrails and less foundations than most roads in the US.

I really like it. I don’t even mind the rear end as I’m all about having extremely square loading doors, but I drive a Transit Connect, so I’m maybe not the best one to ask about boxy aesthetics.

I wonder about the wheels too. I'm not looking for Rubicon level ability, but but I would want a lot more sidewall for the rocky, rutted, dirt desert roads around here I live.

Also two more inches of ground clearance than any minivan out there.

This is what I was going to suggest, but unironically. It was considered one of the ugliest cars ever made when it came out, but car design went in its direction as vehicles moved toward “ruggedized” crossovers and so now the Aztec somehow looks better than it did when it came out. I still don’t love some details, but

Doesn’t a coupe have a fixed roof by definition? I assumed that if he owned all those convertibles and said he wanted a coupe, he knew what he was asking for after experience.

Mercedes AMG GT S’s are starting to get into this price range. I always found them to be really cool. The long front end reminds me of classic sports cars/grand tourers of the past and has a class and panache that I think is rare in cares these days.

I mean, he did explicitly say that he was ideally looking for a coupe.

I’m one of the few that bought a Transit Connect. We’ve had it for 8 years now and it’s largely been great. It’s just wildly convenient for pretty much everything from urban errands to Costco runs to airport shuttling to epic road trips.

I’ve passed the AZ intersection a lot of times and made the turn there multiple times (though I haven’t come out of the local road and made the left turn. This one is unlike some others in that it’s clear who has right of way, but it’s always unnerving to sit in a pull off lane as 70mph traffic buzzes you. I wonder

I went to the event last night with my 6 year old, Charger/Challenger fan son. Say what you will about the car itself, but as everyone was streaming out of the grandstand after the launch last night, I couldn't help but smile at the way people from all races, classes, and walks of life can be brought together by a

I think your absolutely right about all the variants being part of the appeal. My 6 year old is a big Challenger/Charger fan so we went to the launch. Walking through the cars and coffee style car show outside (and even the parking lot) was fun  ecause of the sheer variety of colors, trims, and bodystyles. I'm not

Quoting two times with very different conditions to make a flattering comparison seems fundamentally different than quoting just a best case time.

I just didn’t see anyone talking about sticker price, either in the article, the comment I replied to, or my comment. Everyone is talking about monthly payments or total cost over the term of the loan, both of which include the interest charges baked in.

I didn’t make the comparison to sticker price of the car, just payments and total costs, which do include the interest.
