The AWD is very much still useful - these can handle way more than 4" of snow and your run of the mill fire roads, which is fine for the vast majority of people.

Fits were actually a pretty popular choice for cyclists in the Bay Area because along with being cheap and economical, you could easily fit a bike or two and your gear in the back with the seats folded down.

If Honda still sold the Fit, I’d drive one. Would meet my std day-to-day needs quite nicely. As it is, I have a Civic sedan - so not too much bigger.

The Flex was a great car actually. It was big enough for a whole family, had more power than it really needed out of that ecoboost, it looked pretty damn good, had AWD for snowy climates but never tried to act like it had any kind of off-road chops, and you could get a really well optioned one for under 40k.
