Berlin a Warsaw En Un Tanque!
marcosherrera007

I didn’t know that, that’s interesting! Since you seem to know more than I do about this subject, I hope you don’t mind me picking your brain for a second: if that’s the case, why do some of the exact same brand gas stations (Sheetz is a local one similar to Wawa) in the same town have differing prices that could be

I hated it at first but the red helped a lot and I think it made the car actually look pretty good. It’s still not my favorite but I don’t hate it (with the exception of the view from the rear 3/4 when looking at the nose as it looks like someone just chopped it off at a bad angle. WHO THOUGHT THAT WOULD LOOK GOOD?!?).

That confused me for a second too but I couldn’t figure out what it was for some reason. It just felt off and now I realize they forgot the ‘k’! Haha

That’s what VW was missing!!! Eco-TDI! Haha.

:) Thanks for reading!

Only 264 made, if I remember correctly. It technically does have a color. Whatever color you see on the roof and rear quarter panel is the technical color of the car. Different states title them differently. Some say nothing, some say “COLOR,” I’ve seen a couple just put the “base” color, and some that say “MULTI.” I

I still want yours whenever you’re done with it :) haha

I always thought it would be cool if they could “tech” up these signs and make them electronic or at least partially electronic so for the gas ones you could get the prices at each gas station (at least for 87 although getting it for 91/93 would be nice).

Posted some more in a reply to myself!

In case anyone cares for pictures:

That last picture with the rot was actually the passenger side and if you notice, you can see the ground...

Thanks! Well, I had big plans to actually learn to weld and found the rocker panels and floorboards on a German website but life got in the way and the budget would need to be close to $4k to fix everything wrong with it and that’s if I did the work myself. I was still in college at the time and didn’t have my own

+1 on the GTI seats (I don’t believe Golfs ever came with the plaid but I could be wrong). Those look to be from a mk6 (2010-2014) but the mk5 (2006-2009) seats were similar and could probably be had for less! You’ll also want to find them from a 2-door which has the little tabs at the top to recline them forward or

Hey, thank you! :) I actually forgot to mention the A/C didn’t work and that the shifter would actually move under acceleration (and I mean, REALLY MOVE like it was possessed).

‘98 VW Golf... well, sort of. I bought a pile of rust that resembled a ‘98 Golf. I don’t know how to make this short so here goes (hopefully it’s worth the effort reading it): The guy told me it had a little rust and because the car was slammed, it was a little hard to see under the car so I took his word for it when

You’re sassy. I like it. Haha

“Shipping was covered but handling’s an extra $4,999.”
“You’ve got to be kidding me.”
“OH! Sir, I apologize!! That’s plus tax.”

I actually really like it in that blue!! Normally would hate it but it doesn’t look as cheap with the blue and the fog lights. Also, re: the donation of the car: nice job, Honda! :)

I never said you did. However, saying it’s “what you get” is about as close to saying that the owner is responsible which is what I was implying by saying “at fault.” If a young lady is raped, saying that it’s “what she gets” because she was wearing a short skirt is pushing the blame on her or, in other words,

I’m not even close to being considered conservative but what??? How does this even make sense? I buy something nice and it’s my fault a moron breaks it? Right... People need to learn to respect others. Owner of the car is not at fault here even if there is the chance that he may be an asshole in real life (which is a
