Looks beautiful!! I love the 356 <3

And thankfully, that’s the whole point! The thing that matters is that you like it. I’m sure it’s still a blast and the memories have got to be worth it. I still have a soft spot for 90's cars and most old VWs even though I know they’re arguably not great cars and just old and rickety at this point but it’s mostly

That’s awesome (well, not the ridiculing/laughing on their end but hopefully that stops soon)!!

Por supuesto! Si puedo ayudar con algo mas, dejame saber! Sería un placer :)

Hey, of course! Thanks for taking the time to read it all :) I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day/night (or if you’re feeling like trying your hand at learning a new phrase, potentially: ¡Que tengas un día maravilloso!).

RE: your second question, I honestly do not know if they did or didn’t. I only started reading Jalopnik a couple years ago and was never truly aware of the sister sites until relatively recently.

RE: your first point, we may just disagree and that’s ok. I’m not trying to convince you or anything, I just wanted to point

Haha, that would be funny but sadly, no! The article is a bit dry and very unlike most of the Gawkerverse. It just details the plan to request social media handles from people requesting visas and that while not mandatory, refusing to do so could “slow the process” down for the individual. At the end, it also talks

Except it’s not. Things evolve over time and my point was that if Univision bought it, it was for two likely reasons:

1. To expand into an English market.

I understand your frustration but as a Spanish speaker, I found it nice that it came up for the sole reason that I wouldn’t have searched for it otherwise. If this sticks around for a while after launch though, I can totally agree and would find that annoying.

... that happens to be owned by Univision now...

In case you did read Tom articles and are still a bit confused, MSRP stands for “Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price” which, as it shows, is what the manufacturer says the car will cost. Dealerships are obviously in business to make a profit so they won’t buy a car for MSRP only to try and sell it for that. They say

Decided to click on the link to check out the Camaro and at first I appreciated the attention to detail but it wasn’t really my style... took another look and scrolled down the pictures and completely changed my mind!! I love it! It looks awesome and I love the passion that had to be present to complete the underside

That. Is. Awesome. You, sir (or madam), rock!!

Sorry this is so late but thanks for the little note about the stiffness of the dogbone insert. That was the only thing holding me back from getting it. I’ll be ordering in the next couple days, I think.

And about the COBB tune with downpipe... that’s insane. I wonder why it’s so different... APR was always pretty

Definitely an undervalued comment in the thread!! I find this stuff really interesting because of how complex (while being overall a simple concept, really) it is. At the end of the day, you could have the best wipers, navigation system, sun visors, etc. but if the guy next to you can say, “Yeah, but my car’s bigger,

Seriously underrated joke. A star for you!

That’s what I meant — I’ve seen Bburago but it’s only ever for fully-built models which isn’t nearly the same. Hopefully they start diecast kits up again. I check every so often when I’m on a building kick.

Makes me sad :( I never realized they went bankrupt. I guess it makes sense that I can’t find any anymore. I loved all their kits. Had a couple Porsches, Coopers, etc. It was fun to build them and for around $25/30, it was a great deal.

Didn’t even know this was a thing! Thanks!!

That’s fair and I completely get that but it took over everything and now you can’t even get diecast kits to build (none that I could find, anyway — if you can point me in the right direction in the States, please do!!!)... The detail is incredible but I really enjoyed the metal ones being painted and feeling like

No tools required until two pieces are stuck together and 8-year-old you has bleeding fingers, broken teeth, and a broken spirit because you can’t get them apart :(
