The book is laugh-out-loud hilarious, and the movie is funny, but it’s really not something I’d have considered a “comedy”.

I haven’t been able to watch him in anything since the naked-with-a-chainsaw scene in American Psycho.

I feel like metallic needs to be on a more minimalist dress. Like maybe lose the sleeves, or make it shorter. When it is covering one’s entire body it’s just too much.

I think she’s got a Twitter, but I don’t have one myself. I follow omgthatdress.tumblr.com. She usually posts historical clothes, and I sew so I get a lot of inspiration that way.

I love these, because I’m following OMGThatDress’ recaps, and everything you hate, she loves and vice versa.

I’m working on the Inspector Gamache series by Louise Penny. They tend to have some really weird conversations, and the last one I read had half a book of “oh my god of course there was a brother you idiots!”, but I like the pacing. And some hilarious moments with the box-of-hammers-dumb Agent Nichol, early on.

Yeah, I found a murder mystery series that has 11 titles in it. I’m up to 9, and I’ve been trying not to buy the next one as soon as I finish! But I bought 3 over vacation and read them all, and then two more when I got home, and now I’m almost out again.

Is it really a humblebrag to say I read fast? Or was it the drinking at home part you didn’t like?

I feel like I’m kind of a weirdo because I really don’t like book clubs. I read really fast, so waiting for other people to catch up is irritating. And then I feel like everyone’s read a totally different book than I did anyway, because they’ve hated all the stuff I found the most interesting.

At least for me, I freely admit that I’m not a fan of a lot of CGI. I prefer puppet-Yoda too. So yeah, a big part of it for me was that I thought it was a cheesy CGI no-way-that-could-really-exist thing. And then it really did exist. And I did a complete 180 when I realized it was real.

I saw the teaser and though “Ugh, that is the dumbest CGI droid I’ve ever seen.” Then I saw he was real and I changed my whole tune.

I was also a super-thin teenager. And so, I was “too thin”, “built like an 8-year-old boy”, etc. The sliver of perfection in which we’re supposed to exist is so so narrow.

Have you seen her in The Fall yet? She is a badass goddess.

My favorite is Shaw, when she shows up in (I think) early S3. Her and Fusco and Root have the best interactions.

I actually get confused whenever I see DJ Khaled, because I listen to Khaled who is very much not the same person. I have a thing for rai.

A friend of mine who doesn’t sew just asked me how hard a Rey cosplay would be. I told her she could do most of it from a thrift store and some crinkle gauze from Joann’s. I hope she doesn’t want the goggles, though.

I’ll take the Tatooine sunset, because it’s subtle enough to work for all occasions ... that I need a floor-length designer gown for.

We will all happily not look at your penis ever.

Half the reason I quit was because my child was at the stage of verbally asking for my breasts. No thanks, we’re done here.

I went 14 months, but the last month or so was just at night, because I knew it’d get the kid to sleep. And mine was definitely eating every solid food in sight by that point.
