I watched most of it before realizing there was no Bob Newhart in that clip.

I completely flipped out at that part.
Now I wanna see the confessional videos of him discussing his love of Ashley
I’m about to finish It on my first read through in time for part 2. (not watching part 1 either until finishing). I’m really curious how they did the old/young split as the tension of “remembering” is such a huge part in the book. Also pumped to watch that 5 hour long version or whatever tf the director’s doing.
At least the Youtube awards gave us the beautiful clips of Norm Macdonald hosting the pre-show.
The now-canon Aftermath trilogy books seem to lend credence to this theory as well. (they’re worth reading if you like the SW bullshit like myself)
I completely forgot that but seems correct
I’m trying to remember how the last two movies ended without relying on Wikipedia, and I’m stumped. Something with the keymaster and gatekeeper and then how the “one” was pre-programmed into the Matrix code because, uh, reasons? I don’t know, but I thought the ending kind of closed everything out with Neo et al. Guess…
Alternative, give us MORE techno rave/orgies and less philosophical mumbo jumbo.
For sure. Friend was high, I was buzzed. That definitely added to the amazing technicals, though being sober doesn’t take away from appreciating all the space scenes.
It’s definitely a film I can’t watch alone. Watched it a couple of weeks ago with a friend on his top o’ the line OLED on 4k with his 7.1 system. Definitely made it an experience. (also the beers and chatting about the cool sets and design work during slower parts improved the experience)
No minor celebrity news confuses me anymore. I have achieved oneness with the internet.
Hey man, so pros and cons of only visiting this garbage site while at work: I can do the endless scroll of content, but I also can’t put 100% of mind into what I’m typing, meaning some things come across in ways I don’t intend.
Wait, so we both agree the movie bombed. I assume we both agree the movie sucked. There are numerous reasons for this failure, only one of which was referenced above (i.e. Singer). Besides the scripts and a lot of other things, the acting was also bad in these across the board.
I literally did no such thing, dipshit.
wat
Doesn’t Disney have a banner company for PG13-R movies?
I was surprisingly affected (is it effected here?) by the JJ appearance in the Aftermath trilogy. Granted, I’m a sucker for all things nostalgia.
Hence the Chekhov reference - if writers reference something there should be a reason for it. They didn’t bring up GR for an entire season+ and suddenly they reference him multiple times. Apparently the reason for the reference, per other comments, is that he’s getting his own show next year.
