I am not sure how much you make, bu a few hundred bucks in salary for a contractor to actually having to drop off the car because it needs work because it was abused by the dealer is a thing. He didn’t want any of that.

I would pass on people like you(would come up with all sorts of excuses why I am not able to service your car). 99% of employees would not abuse your car but will certainly look at you like an asshole... and assholes don’t get most out of their money and time.

Did it cost $380? I paid $120 for custom alignment in my trusted shop on an AWD vehicle with fancy suspension.

Agreed. I once compared Evo X forum which is full of enthusiast and a Toyota forums... well, I was not surprised supraforums has separated from general Toyota community.

In that case there are GOOD shops around. Dealerships are a very shady area from most of my experiences.

Is there a strange coincidence that cost of a f****g alignment is $380 and idiots work there? That’s why I service my cars in trusted shops, and custom alignment costs $120.

Mine don’t turn on unless you sit on them. And for some reason they don’t work at all when you are wearing snowboarding pants. And I don’t mean I don’t feel heat, they just don’t warm up.

Buddy of mine had an almost a death situation when he barely managed to land and only later discovered that carbon monoxide was the culprit. Those plane designs are not the best.

Eh, sure as long as you don’t do it immediately after start. Thicker colder oil combined with higher RPM means good buy to your oil pump. Don’t rev car right after start - I run from a dealerships that start a car and rev it a few times to show you how it sounds.

That only works for oil and coolant, not tranny, brake fluid or clutch.

He said 1-2 mins... what is your argument exactly? Also, idling for an hour is still less wear on the engine than driving for that same hour... so either way. idling wears engine, we know that.

You folks have fallen quite far quite long ago. It’s just at this point America is running on a mix of denial and patriotism. Half the world is way advanced than an average American city... I am from Canada. I drive down to LA quite often... I have to say it’s like 80s in there compared what we have here. :)

It’s not the brand, it’s massive rim and low profile tire are not designed to provide grip or take bumps of uneven surface.

That’s not really off-road tires... that is a wanna-be-offroad tires... :/

A bonus is a cash on hands that is also taxed. Better use for these money is to grow the company first, then provide stability, benefits and permanent salary increases for the employees.

Engineers do a lot of work for FCA as much as similar folks do for Toyota...the problem is lack of responsibility and shitty process. Ah and union, that is a cancer of it’s own.

That’s a mortgage for a truck... :/

I somehow find folks who explain from engineering point of view rather smarter individuals that anyone who discredits the opposition right away.

Neither is AmTrak. Engineering is well done for both... it’s how they are ran is the problem.

It’s because Russian manufacturing precision is much lower, so Russian tanks could take more abuse, but of course cost of this is comfort and performance.
