The GT-R’s benchmark was the 997.1 Turbo. Now, 11 years later, I’d never pick the dinosaur GT-R over a 992 Carrera S...much less take a Nismo over a GT3.

Counterpoint: The 718 GTS with PDK is fantastic, noise be damned (though IMO it sounded good). Thanks to the deprciation and low sales, those who don’t mind the flat four noise and are seduced by the tunability will be getting bargain priced mini supercars.
