There's nothing wrong with the fonts. They can be used to type perfectly correct Tengwar and runes. They just don't work by typing normally. They have wonky keyboard mapping that needs to be learned.

The author just misunderstood how Tengwar fonts work. They're not mapped to a normal keyboard layout. You need a chart to use them correctly.
