When holding the shield, pressing A will perform a parry. A perfectly timed press will stop just about any attack in the game, often leaving the attacker vulnerable. With the walking guardians, they reach a point where they stop walking when they’re close enough. Parry as soon as the blue laser flash starts and

The best method (before getting special tools) is to parry the laser blast with your shield (A button). 3 perfect parties and you’ve killed it.

Yes. Clearly the game got such great reviews for some reason other than the game, despite it being fantastic. I hated shield degradation in Skyward Sword, but it works beautifully in BoTW. It feels similar to playing a Halo campaign, where you have to keep the good ammo for tougher enemies and use your standard

No. You need those guardian parts, and there really aren’t very many full sized guardians on the map. Once you learn how to take them out, they’re pretty easy. I’m fairly confident I could get into Hyrule castle with early gear and 3 hearts. Parrying is fantastic.

We would be worrying about inventory management a lot more if we had to travel to a blacksmith every time a cool weapon breaks. Can you imagine playing Halo and then leaving a level to go get more rocket ammo? It’d break the momentum.

You can always pull up the map and fast travel!

Yeah. Why can’t you just write about everything in one article?

I disagree. The gray looks really nice and that red color is kind of ugly. I’ll enjoy my pairs of gray and blue joy-con.

I always thought being an Indie Haven was one of Vita’s strengths, personally.

It’s pretty fundamentally flawed. The group exists to protect the world from superpowers threats like a bad Superman, and then they assemble a group of people who would get wrecked by Supes in 5 seconds. D.C. Wants so badly for their movies to prove they interconnect that they strip the group’s purpose of any

There’s no anti-DC conspiracy. BvS and Suicide Squad were just bad movies. Nobody ever claimed a bias when Nolan was making D.C. Movies.

It was pretty terrible though. One of the worst blockbusters I’d seen in a long time until I saw Suicide Squad.

Some people just want a few inexpensive figures that look pretty good. Sure, if I go right up close and examine them daily, I notice their flaws. But they don’t bother me, just as they don’t bother me in amiibo and the later Disney Infinifty figures.

Most people don’t want to spend $40-60 on a toy figure.

Anyone who thinks the only reason a large amount of people enjoy a product is because “they can’t think a single thought of their own” is wrong. Every time.

Pikablu is not fictional; that’s what people called Marill before they knew it’s real name.

I think Nintendo is focused on what the system will look like by Holiday 2017.

Neither was the Wii U, and that died only $50 cheaper than at launch.

That’s one way of looking at it. The other is that they’ve already sold their hardcore followers and they have to convince others by Christmas.

I saw a bunch of people annoyed locally that suddenly the parks were full of people, even though the Pokémon players would donate money for the park’s upkeep. Also, never saw the pokefolk litter.
