There’s a lot that’s great about Empire, and it has easily the most consistent acting in the OT, but as a film, there are a ton of unnecessary parts.

Really? You’re less interested in a villain with agency than a henchman villain? As much as I love Vader, RotJ and the prequelstogether make Vader nothing more than a henchman. Ren is actually in charge. He’s a character with some depth, unlike Palpatine in any of the films, especially the OT.

Bombs working in space make perfect sense within the Star Wars universe, where lasers cause ships to explode in space and ships make lots of noise in space.

Mary Poppins? You mean the Leia scene? I see no issues with the space bit. People can survive in a vacuum for a minute or two, and there’s no gravity, so it’s take minimal effort to push herself to the ship.

Great movies are about so much more than a simple plot. Characters, theme, and messages are just as important. The plot was not as central to the others, but that doesn’t make it bad.

Microsoft didn’t pay for exclusivity; they paid for the game to be made. It would’ve been much smaller without that money. There’s no way it ever goes anywhere else.

A review shouldn’t be only for people who have predetermined they’d like the game.
