That’s 50% better. Now add traditional windscreen angle and bonnet line and that starts looking like a actual vehicle.

Only 3? Do you live in a really, really small city or a single stoplight village? ;-)

It’s easy to build, but flat sheets of metal are structurally very weak. They flop around alot because there’s no structure to hold the shape. That’s why the Citroen HY’s panels are corrugated and why hot rodders bead roll shapes into their interior panels.

It’s function over aesthetics.”

No, we’d just see a lot more injured bystanders. You assume that an armed society would be a scared society, and thus more “civil”. That is not the case though, quite apart from the inherent unhealthiness of having people scared and on edge all the time, there would still be the basic aggression and self centeredness

I have to disagree with this part. I think it’s aesthetics over everything else. Yes, there’s some trick engineering choices in there as well, but I think at the core, Musk wanted to ape designs from 35+ years ago and call it “futuristic” and “revolutionary”.

This truck is Elon on wheels

I just think that living in a society where the normal is bulletproof glass is a little fucked up.

Sweet, more stuff about the electric crossover “Mustang”.

If nothing else, at least the Cybertruck makes this look good by comparison.

I dunno, I feel that way about literally every truck after the original Heavy-Duty/Super Duty days of the early 2ks. I mean, Ram has a 2 foot tall grill with 8 inch tall letters letting everyone know what it is, it’s like screaming LOOK IM IN A TRUCK I’M SO COUNTRY I’M IN A FUCKING TRUCK A TRUCK A TRUCK. The entire

It’s not even utilitarian though. It’s something you draw in art class when you’re bored lol.

Did anyone else hear about Telsa introducing a truck? I can’t find any mention of it anywhere online.

“...and distributed to 3,000 elderly New York City residents...”   Haven’t they suffered enough?

This whole truck is an entire full body cringe. I cannot imagine owning it, driving it, getting out of it in broad delight where someone might see, without feeling like I will be pelted with lettuce, booed offstage, or sold a faster graphics card.

It looks like a DeLorean had sex with a Pontiac Aztek. And due to years of cocaine consumption, the baby was born without a truck bed.

My first thought....

This looks 1000% better

And yet, I am not feeling the sense of urgency.
