Heating the interior of a car using resistive electric heating is VERY expensive, whereas heating just the occupant(s) through the seat surface is much less of a power draw. EVs without heated seats (or with owners that would rather not use them) see massive drops in range during colder months; as much as 40% from

That is absolutely the first thing I noticed. If she would’ve tripped while walking behind her husband, well that would one way to become a widow.

Not only is that woman holding that gun entirely wrong but she has her finger on the fucking trigger the whole time! Even her dipshit husband seems to know better than that. She should be arrested for reckless endangerment.

Everybody knows it’s a completely black and white choice too. We MUST either stay at home forever and adopt a universal basic income so nobody ever has to work again (except essential people. Fuck those guys) OR we need to deny that the virus exists at all, and go completely back to normal, but now it’s no longer

I have a number of shots that break many of these rules and I love them.

Rule #1: Never post a video when an article will suffice. Most people don’t have the time (or an appropriate setting) to watch a video, but all of us have 60 seconds to read a condensed list of tips.

My first thought was “that looks a bit like a Ford Explorer”.  Glad I’m not the only one who saw it.

It kind of looks like a tank designed to look like an SUV.

Overall good design job on this van. They lengthened and raise the front fenders and hood to give the illusion and proportion of an SUV-inspired conventional 2-box vehicle. Far more effective than GM’s attempt with the 05-08 U platform (Uplander, Montana, Relay, Terraza). One thing that I wish minivan makers could do

I think it’s more of a case of luxury cars being more complex with more options and tech. It’s like Scotty said, “The more they overthink the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain.”

The problem here had nothing to do with it being automotive grade or not. Sure, if they used industrial grade flash memory it would have lasted a bit longer, but end of the day flash memory has a limited amount of cycles. The problem was more of they probably should have included more memory and toned down on the log

Googling around says that a Model X pulling a 4900lb boat loses 60% of its range. A 100D (non long-range) has a 325 mile range, so that’d be 130 miles towing. Using a Supercharger, you can capture 80% of range in 40 minutes. So here’s your trip, with convenient Supercharger stations at exactly the right spots:

Not sure i see the logic for the 4cyl Supra at this price point vs an 8cyl Mustang or a STi or one of the various Camaro’s that would be around the same price.

Well I have to tow four horses 800 miles uphill both ways in -40 degree weather with the heater on at 85 mph and carry my wife, my wife’s boyfriend, and my wife’s 6 children, so checkmate Tesla.

I love me some Gran Turismo and played 1-5 quite a bit, and while I enjoyed the campaign/career mode, it seemed to become less and less difficult with each new iteration of the game (GT2 was actually difficult at times).

Well its been a fun ride and dream come true but if this is the direction Nascar is headed we will not participate after 2020 season is over , i don’t believe in kneeling during Anthem nor taken ppl right to fly what ever flag they love. I could care less about the Confederate Flag but there are ppl that do and it

I posted this elsewhere in the thread:

Wow...
