I’m thinking in the following 20-50 years you might see efficiency be 30% more than today. Total range could be magnitudes better, but not miles traveled per KWH.
That woulnt be the same class of car then. Pedal assist bikes can go forever, but we dont compare them to cars.
So little energy is wasted that I cant imagine peak efficiency being more than 20-30% where we are today. Packing in more cells in the same space/weight could be a real improvement, but motors, controllers, aerodynamics and rolling resistance are already nearing their limits.
The issue is stationary vehicles. If it hasnt moved since it started looking at it, it wont care about it. This flaw has been around for years. If the object is moving really slowly it sees a car and tracks it as one, otherwise its a pretty bad blindspot.
tests also showed just how many cars don’t bother to check if there’s anyone actually occupying the driver’s seat: all 17 vehicles in the tests allowed this.
It is not much force to break the AP, Ive done it many times by accident just trying to let it know that I was still on the wheel.
The recent housing market in some areas is so bad that many people just accept cash, they don’t want to sit around waiting for loan processing.
Soon enough everything is just gonna be an auction. Be here at 9am when the doors open, 5 of the 50 of you will walk out with the product, none of you will feel satisfied when its over.
It strait up looks like Ruiner from all the videos. But that does not have the clickbaityness that CP2077 has.
Wide angle lenses make rooms look bigger.
Comparing your 1995 to 2021 numbers show a 15 to 19% increase in total vehicle volume.
We reached peak-dumbness when that one social media guy purposefully sat in the back seat, got arrested, and then did it with his friend when he got out on bail.
Even if the reason is legit, the method sure does feel all that great for how you manage evidence. Shouldnt someone be stating clearly ‘I am setting this bag found from the suspects pocket down on the back seat’. I’m not criminal lawyer or anything so maybe this stuff is fine to just toss around everywhere and let the…
The process of buying a Tesla is litterally filling out some forms in a website, you are only sitting in a showroom while doing it.
The process for a dealership is they ask you want you want to pay per month, leave for an hour and come back with numbers that mean nothing without transparency for how much it actually…
In your own link it says the car performs all tasks. The idea of taking over at Level 3 is about the system handing it back to the driver, not the driver having to monitor the car. Right from the wiki “An example would be a Traffic Jam Chauffeur”.
#2, When you are talking about slow bumper to bumper traffic, that’s actually level 3, which Japan already allows. Level 4 is take a nap while going 75 on a highway, but you gotta take over before you get into the city.
One idea we came up with while watching was a mandatory 1 position penalty, so people who do something dangerous can only max out at second place, and it removes the time penalty being either really bad or insignificant, which in this season 10 seconds really only affects the top 2 if both of the top 2 are still in…
There are 2 things I think about:
CR is 100% using the Tesla click generator to draw in traffic. I dont care how well they test v9, there are just too many different kinds of situations on the road. This kind of tech is best tested with big data taken from millions of anecdotal individual uses. Its also a beta with a limited release, so I also care…
