I don’t play Fortnite, and I don’t plan to start but the in-game world altering events that Fortnite does are easily one of my favorite things in gaming right now.

This was awesome, I don’t want to think about how much the development resources for this could have gone in to the actual game, but I enjoyed it more than I expected so I can’t be too bitter.

I mean, the same two guys who crafted Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade created Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Sometimes older guys lose the creative thread of their past work.

I love Animal Crossing (been playing since the 2002 Gamecube debut) but I agree with you - this article describes game tactics that, for ME, make it sound a joyless and perfunctory game. Not knocking that approach at all, because clearly min/max types LOVE this game, but if you take the opposite approach (no

Mario Kart 64 is the worst game in the main series (as in, not including the mobile game and the arcade games). Even at the time of its release, I was disappointed in it compared to Super Mario Kart. That doesn’t mean I didn’t still enjoy it at the time. Of course I had a lot of fun with it. But it was still a clear

I switched to digital 100% about a year back. It’s cheaper and far easier to catalogue for one thing. The other problem with physical comics is the absurd number of ads in the pages. Good luck keeping track of whatever decompressed story you paid for 20 pages of when every 3 pages is broken by some garish ad.

Well, they wanna keep the gore in because it’s what the franchise is known for (even now, there are still people who dismiss the first live-action movie entirely because there’s no gore), but because of how realistic graphics are nowadays, they have to go over-the-top so that people can’t imitate them in real life.

I understand budgets and time constraints are the main culprit, but a lot the sequences look like they’re animated on 3's and even 4's, which I’ve never been a fan of. I really don’t like the hard angles of the designs, nor the look of the faces in that screen cap of Johnny, Sonya, and Liu Kang.

She is currently stuck inside everyday, doesn’t get to see her friends or relatives, had her party canceled and is scared of whats going on right now.

A superposition of obsessive and dismissive who’s wavefunction will only collapse when you open the box to determine whether the cat is inside or not.

Interesting, and a real philosophical question. Cats tend to be famously dismissive of any item that’s designed with them in mind, but are famously obsessive about cardboard boxes. Now they’re faced with a cardboard box that’s designed with them in mind. How will they know how to react? Obsessive? Dismissive?

This is my point. Not sure how you and one other were the only ones that got it.

Every article about how something in the game made them sad or act like a terrible person makes me suspect more and more that the writers might just be sad, terrible people, and the game has nothing to do with it.

Wow.. way to be accepting of a socially awkward person. Not to mention you turned something that was most likely an innocent question into something gross. “Did you shower today?” I bet the response options would be something innocent like “you smell!” It’s Nintendo! they aren’t going to add anything gross in. You

You lost me.

I’d argue that in the early (Atari)days Activision was actually about putting out quality games , and making sure creators were recognised for their games (as in they were paid and credited in the game). It was later, post US games crash, that they went (extremely )darkside. Funnily enough EA in its early Trip Hawkins

it’s a full game with a story from the sounds of it. just built on xcom 2 engine far as I can tell

The Japanese language has a lot of that sort of...pausing? interjection? continuing of the conversation without using words? It’s hard to verbalize this far removed from studying it and the culture.

As you say, grunting is one of those things. That super surprised “ehhhhhhhh!!!!” that happens when something amazing

I’m playing it now, it’s very fun. Plays very differently to xcom though. Rewards stealth, and shorter engagements.

YO ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT THEY BASICALLY MADE A NEW TOP DOWN SWAT GAME BUT WITH LIKE, FIRE EMBLEM RELATIONSHIP MECHANICS? I NEVER KNEW I NEEDED THIS IN MY LIFE.
