Because Rift Apart, despite being extremely sterile, is still a better game than the Ratchet and Clank remake. While it makes sense story-wise, the Remake would not have sold as well as Rift Apart did.

Seems counterintuitive to not support steam. If this is the case then it’d be difficult for 3rd parties to consider the Epic Storefront seriously if it’s willing to gate games on their platform. This will also result in the loss of goodwill from users.
I think you’re giving AI a bit too much credit. AI still isn’t near even an approximation of “understanding” because it doesn’t “understand”. It doesn’t even “learn”. What it does is calculate. All it does is “calculate”.
“Buying them all” only matters to collectors. It’s a completely valid metric for those who care about those things.
X is a slasher movie and a pretty good one. Character decisions aside, people watch slasher movies to watch awful people die in gruesome ways. That’s the appeal.
I liked some aspects of Barbarian, but it’s not high on my list and would not willingly watch it again. Barbarian is cool for its novelty. The movie makes it…
Why would you play a game to have it mimic movie framerate and all of its features? Doesn’t make sense to me. It plays worse, turning the camera becomes motion-sickness inducing and strains your eyeballs.
Naw, it’s not like that, somewhat. While you can inherit names since that is allowed as long as you’re birth into the family, it’s only a privilege for people with powerful status. The one-shot answers all of this.
I get what you’re saying but I don’t see how this invalidates their concerns. Their $3m pc build might be enthusiast, but they also spent the cash so that they wouldn’t have to worry about optimisation issues in the first place.
Have you seen the quality presets? While this game is probably the most stable a Bethesda game has ever been, in terms of optimisation, this game is not it. All of their presets has the resolution scaling almost 30-50% lower than native resolution, even High and Ultra. This is unheard of! And if we’re being honest,…
For whatever reason Ubisoft is just really bad at car handling. It’s a problem in every single game of theirs that has cars in them. And, because of this it’s a dealbreaker for me. I might as well just stick to NFS or Forza Horizon.
When did you need to have a master’s degree in storytelling to write stories?
What people thought of WoW and what WoW actually is had been a thing since the game first came out. It’s the same issue when it comes to any game sporting cartoony graphics.
Isn’t that why’s it’s weird? It’s minor edits to a non-issue. At the end of the day, it’s no big deal, but why bother with the edits at all? Why remove the afro and afro-comb combo? Do they really think that was racist? Why remove an umbrella armband? Nazi uniform aren’t exclusive to them, armbands certainly aren’t,…
I get why people feel compelled to request its removal, but I do believe it should not be removed. Yes, it’s a messed up situation, but stories are indeed allowed to have messed up situations.
“Poorly done analytics” if you ask me.
I’m a bit surprised the original Legend of Zelda isn’t at the bottom. While I like Breath of the Wild, the dungeons are either too short, or the large dungeons feel uninteresting. My personal favourite is Majora’s Mask, followed by Link to the Past, Skyward Sword and Wind Waker.
You might like the remake. Skyward Sword to me has some of the most creative dungeons since Majora’s Mask.
Rumbleverse and Spellbreak were gems.
Radical Heights was a pretty cool BR too. Sometimes I wish that dying live-service games were given away and left with the community instead of rotting away potentially forever.
I clicked on this article too early because I really wanted to see what people think of this.
I feel like it’s unfair to call this a Soulslike when it’s not trying to be one. It’s not like Dark Souls invented corpse runs.
