In the US, Medicare and Medicaid aren’t for-profit. There’s probably not any you can buy on the open market that isn’t though, nor any you can get through employers.

As long as it works for him, have at it. Hard to argue with the results, seeing as he’s won so many rewards for his novels!
Cinemark’s subscription plan seems insane to me, but that’s probably because the only Cinemark near me is a Tinsletown. If you wait to go on Tuesdays there, tickets for 2D showings are $5 for everyone all day. Since I’m patient enough to do that, I’d be paying almost double per month for one movie using their plan…
You might be able to leave it toggled on, and use Greenify to auto-hibernate MoviePass when it’s not being actively used. As far as I know, Greenify can do this without root nowadays.
I like that one, or maybe not aging is a side-effect of all those mushrooms he’s consumed there.
That claim’s a bit fishy though, what are the odds of someone else doing a run in MAME and getting the exact same final score?
This is compounded by the fact that, according to Mitchell, Bouvier was there.
My GP is great about that, she’s the one that prescribed the Atarax for my IC. My urologist didn’t want to, not because he didn’t believe the research but because he wasn’t all that familiar with the drug. (Which is understandable.) But he flat-out told me he was fine with me talking to my GP about it, and my trying…
I’m not at all surprised they do that on opening night. The theater I usually go to has the main theater straight across from the entrance, so the ticket takers can see everyone going into it. A line builds up too, at least on opening night, so there’s no chance of sneaking into that theater.
There’s pretty much no way MoviePass could find out you were doing that. It’s something that’s even difficult for the theater to catch. Basically, if you buy tickets for a 2D showing, and can get into the 3D showing without the theater catching you (probably not too difficult) no one but you and anyone with you will…
I think the author’s point there was this is against MoviePass’s terms, and if they catch you doing it, you could get kicked off their service. It doesn’t hurt the theater, but it could take MoviePass away from you, so it’s not a good idea.
I really don’t understand why people do that. I, unfortunately, have a lot of health problems, and I do my own research into all of them because I like to be informed about my own conditions. (Also because I’m curious and like learning new things.) I would never go to a doctor and say “I want this,” but I have gone to…
She was pretty awesome, although she was very much tired of questions about her name. Apparently everyone always asked her if her parents were hippies. They weren’t, they just thought it was a pretty name. To be fair, it is pretty, but also not the kind of name you want to grow up having.
There may be some good news on that front, according to this source:
That’s just absolutely disgusting. I’m sorry this happened to you. :(
I met a girl once whose first and middle names were California Sunshine.
I don’t know if this would help or not, but if you still have some of the paperwork on your end, you might want to talk to a lawyer. If nothing else, you might be able to sue Sallie Mae and get some money out of them for the massive failure, which you can use toward the loans. Because it’s pretty damn clear that…
Hell no, not into the sun. She might corrupt the thing with evil, and the rest of us need it to live. Let’s aim her at another star, one that’ll take centuries to reach. We’ll send her off still alive and with enough provisions to last her the rest of natural life. Then she gets to be alone in the void for years, and…
I’d take much of the 60s fashion over the hideous stuff in the 70s.
Don’t forget live-streaming your last moments for posterity. You know, for when aliens find the glowing ember of our planet centuries in the future and somehow find working storage of our last days on the Internet.
