Thanks for mentioning the Prime subs. I have Amazon Prime, but rarely ever use Twitch. Your comment made me realize that I could go use that free monthly subscription and send a bit of money their way. So I did! (^‿^)

Nah, that’s never how it works for those types. It’s god’s will when what they wanted to happen happens. But when what they want to happen doesn’t happen, it’s the work of the devil. It’s never god sending them a message to warn them they’re being righteous assholes and should probably change their lives before they…
She could, but people are jumping to the meth connection due to her actions. The way she acted destroying the place seems like something someone high on meth might do. Then you add in the face sores and that’s also something something addicted to meth might have and it makes that possibility seem more likely.
Amusingly, there was a scene of a star destroyer in either The Force Awakens or Rogue One (I think it was TFA, but not completely certain) that in 3D it looked like the star destroyer was coming out of the screen straight at the audience so much that it made me flinch for a second. That one shot pretty much made the…
I know it seems that way for those of us who are affected by it, but it’s doing quite well. There are so many people who play and watch FPS games that it’s obvious the vast majority of people aren’t bothered by it. It’s probably like motion sickness in that regard, where most people aren’t affected by it. It sure…
I have, it doesn’t. It’s not motion sickness (Dramamine works for that, although Bonine is better), it’s something else. And it’s gotten worse over time. For example, I managed to finish the story missions in Grand Theft Auto III on PS2, but when I tried playing it on PC last year, I had to quit as soon as I got to…
He could just give them to me for safe-keeping. I can’t even play Overwatch without it making me barf, so there’s no chance at all I’d be using them. That’s not a criticism of the game, it’s 3D sickness and Overwatch is far from the only game that I can’t play due to it. Hell, I can’t watch people play it either, that…
They’ll probably do like the old TV show Wild Wild West and have fancier steampunk stuff in DLCs. Plus you could buy your own trains and railroads. Don’t think it’s as sustainable as GTA Online is, but they can probably milk it quite a while.
Yeah, I know he died there, and I agree as to why. But I was suggesting that Yoda seemed more real to Luke, less of a ghost, because Luke was going to die soon and somehow the force could sense this. That made Luke closer to becoming one with the force than normal, so he could see and interact with Yoda more like a…
I believe force ghosts are the spirit/soul/etc. of the dead person impressed upon the force. This allows them to live on in a way, and even draw on the force to make themselves appear as a ghost. There are limits though, Obi-Wan tells Luke on Dagobah that he cannot interfere or help Luke if he goes to confront Vader…
My feeling from that whole scene was that Yoda’s force ghost seemed more – real, for lack of a better word – to Luke because Luke was getting close to his death and becoming one with the force. Yoda’s blue glow seemed to entirely vanish at times, and he appeared much more solid than other force ghosts at times too.
That’s proably the director/producers/artists having some fun. And it can be explained in-universe since it takes place past our current time.
The book did well because of nostalgia from the generation that grew up in the 80s. The cameos and pop culture references have to be there or it has no chance at all. It might be a massive flop anyway, but it looks like they’re doing a decent job on keeping the 80s stuff in there.
As I recall, federal law left open an exception for fantasy sports, so DraftKings and FanDuel are using that exception. Think of it as a loophole. It’s unlikely congress was contemplating things like that when they made the law.
I just wanted to point out that I enjoy your coverage on this, even though I cannot play the game. FPS games make me barf, literally. But the whole microtransactions/loot crate mechanic EA has so badly bungled in this game will impact other games I can play, so I like knowing what’s happening with Battlefront II.
In all honesty, it’ll look much better in an emulator (except the prerendered movies). You can also use save states to save anywhere, which is a big boon in Ep. I especially.
Today’s equivalent is the playable ads on mobile. If you’ve not seen those, it’s literally a scaled down, playable version of the game delivered like an ad. These take the place of video ads you can play to earn stamina/energy/etc. in other mobile games. Some play a short regular ad video, then load the playable…
Given that her eyes seem to be different heights with the black hair, I think she had more than just a dye job.
On the interstate especially, you see so, so many idiots who do that without paying any attention to the surrounding traffic. It can be amusing to see them blast into the other lane and zoom up to the slow vehicle blocking it, then discover that there’s a solid wall of cars in the other lane, and they can’t get back…
She’s not 15, she’s been competing for 15 years. It’s worded poorly.
