I don’t necessarily disagree with the sentence, I just find it unusual, as lenient sentences are the norm here.

Meanwhile a dude who slit his wife’s throat might go free because he’s been waiting too long for his trial.http://www.cbc.ca/beta/news/canada/montreal/montreal-police-accused-murder-case-jordan-ruling-1.4062331
As a Québecoise, I must say that’s an extraordinarily stiff sentence. Did “Big Maple” get to this judge?
You don’t know this woman’s life. There are plenty of reasons she might have needed to fly with her children.
Bottom line....so what? Showing emotion in front of your kids is not a bad thing.
Of course every other human must react the exact same way you do in situations or they are clearly wrong.
Do you/have you had young kids? Flying alone with two babies is intense. I think many parents would break down pretty easily in that situation. It makes me feel empathy, not embarrassment.
IDK, as a parent I always stand up for other parents. While violence never helps any situation, I don’t fault the guy for getting involved.
The woman was travelling with 2 babies. I hardly think needing a stroller is being a dick.
This comes from a friend of a cousin of a woman who briefly dated Spade in the 90's, so my intel may not be 100% accurate. But the legend goes that he was funny, nice and a sex wizard.
Off topic, I’ll never forget waddling into the polling station and voting for Jack when I was 9 months pregnant...I went into labour that night.
I would say Medici is equivalent to the non-Jeremy Irons Borgia, but is even lazier and campier.
That show! Everyone was miscast, it was stupid and I never knew what was happening. Yet it was somehow good. Those Canal shows rule.
Dustin Hoffman looks like he showed up at a soundstage, read some random lines and left. It’s hilarious.
I’m really into Harlots, although frequently confused as to which dude is which.
JT has room for improvement in many areas, but on women’s issues he usually says/does the right thing.
This is an issue on which there can be no compromise. Up here in Canada, when Trudeau took over the Liberals he made it clear that anyone who was anti-choice should leave the party. There were a few grouchy op-eds about it, a few dissenters, however in the end it was accepted.
The history nerd in me is still wondering how the White Queen managed to make Richard III hotter than Edward IV.
The older I get the less patience I have for word games. A person either believes that everyone should have bodily autonomy or they don’t. You can personally never want to have an abortion, because you are then exercising autonomy over your own body. The moment it extends to others, it ceases to be a personal belief.
I DID NOT KNOW THIS EXISTED! Thank you!
