All I see is...

I want every anti-fetal tissue Republican to sign a pledge now that they will never use any medical treatment created using fetal tissue research.

Also, if I recall correctly, this law actually mandates burial/cremation when a woman miscarries! Will women be prosecuted for flushing 6-week miscarriages now?

I’m so sorry to hear about that! But that’s exactly it, they obviously want to force you to feel loss, but you can’t manufacture emotion for something that doesn’t even resemble anything close to what you would call “human”. It should be a woman’s choice, always.

I find it interesting that Indiana, Texas, etc. haven’t put forth any legislation to limit the number of embryos that can be implanted during IVF. Doctors often implant a large number, which can result in an unsafe number of fetuses. That leads to abortions because it puts the health of the mother and the fetuses at

Jfc, I had a miscarriage a few weeks ago. I had to put the thing* in a jar (at that point it was between golf-ball and tennis-ball sized) and gave it to my doctor. It did occur to me to ask for it back so I could bury it, like, under a tree or something. But then I thought, “Meh.” And that was my reaction to a fetus I

The first round of tests for our son showed a high risk of Down Syndrome. Subsequent testing showed he didn’t have it, but we definitely discussed whether we would consider abortion and I can’t imagine having that option be illegal.

Any disability or defect. That, presumably, also rules out abortions for genetic disorders like Tay Sachs where the children die in pain. What the hell is wrong with these people.

He’ll always be john Winchester to me ( who I really like, unlike lots of supes fans)

I’m sure an enterprising Real American will open a cemetary full of teeny, tiny plots for the thimble-sized coffins necessary to contain the tissue of a few-weeks old embryo. Bootstraps!

Yeah, this is the worst. Also, how does one go about burying a lump of cells, in what would essentially be a blood clot? How does one bury something the size of a fingernail?

Right? Of all the shit in the bill, this is the thing that made me reread the paragraph 5 times.

So - I'm curious. We (watchers of the show) know Negan is coming. We know "someone" is going to die horribly. Yet we're excited about the spectacle. How many of us, knowing what to expect, are going to turn tail and claim that TWD has gone too far, or is too gruesome, explicit, to the point of being obscene...?

Yes. That’s just what the GOP needs.

I honestly don't know why I keep watching this show. Maybe just so I can bitch about it. If the Alexandrian's make a deal with Hilltop to bully the bullies, aren't they just taking the same lunch money from Hilltop that the Saviors were? Eh, TWD show isn't even smart enough for me to spend so much time trying to find

The bill bans women from seeking abortions based on race, gender or disability of the fetus

good thing the state is prepared to take care of a rash of surrendered special needs babies and isn’t slashing the budgets of developmental programs!

Coincidentally, coat hangers at all Indiana Wal-Mart’s are on sale this weekend.

I am so glad I am no longer giving Indiana any more of my tax dollars.
