Awww, you didn’t even mention Hansel Robles. I mean, there’s no reason to mention him, but I like his name.

Totally correct on the water, plus there’s no guarantee that it’d be accessible from any given point on the surface. In fact, NASA tries to deliberately avoid places where there might be water for fear of contaminating it.

People with money continue to tell people without money that they don’t need money.

The Fringe Division was able to avert it.

Not many people are seriously predicting the demise of the NFL even with all the negative headlines in the past year or so, but could you see a scenario where it becomes something akin to NASCAR, where a big population loves it deeply and everyone else is indifferent at best?

I just want to know if Patrick Kane is a rapist or not. That’s all. I don’t care who gets paid, whether any of this plays into anyone’s narratives about American society and the sports world, etc.

Yeah, Boehner vs. the Tea Party, from the progressive perspective, is like the difference between an enemy you can have a conversation with, and an enemy who will stab you on sight.

This is great and all, really appreciate it, but I’m still far from satisfied. I was a kid in the ’80s and I was promised that I’d be visiting other worlds by now. At this rate my kids and grandkids will be lucky to ever see a view like this, even from Mars or the moon.

Somehow they made that repulsive clown into a tragic figure. Hard to do.

Slam dunk correct. I cringed at every line from him for the first few episodes, but eventually he became the heart of the show.

This is the one upside of the massive GOP field ... the enjoyment of watching all but one of them fail to even claim the party’s nomination.

Over the course of the last season, my 10-year obsession with this show cooled to passion, then fondness, and now lingers at interest. Another season like that ...

There are a lot more cops than there are journalists, and the cops are better paid and equipped, so even if we wanted the media doing parallel investigations of everything (and maybe we do want that!) it just wouldn’t be possible.

There’s a part of me that wants Obama to give a press conference on his last day in office, walk up to the microphone, and say:

This story should’ve been Season 2 of “True Detective,” not whatever that was that we got.

That’s a relief. Since I wasn’t pre-med myself I had no idea. So if we’re lucky those goons all ended up switching to teaching or financial investing.

I was in a couple classes in college that were mostly filled with pre-med students, and it dawned on me that those idiots were future doctors. These were people barely intelligent enough to feed and clothe themselves, and now at least some of them are surely considered successful medical practitioners.

This should be a series:

I was never able to grit my teeth and tolerate Wolf. He is totally vacuous, a non-entity, the absence of personality, a suit in pursuit of a human to inhabit it, the embodiment of nothingness, the black hole at the middle of the American media establishment, a pile of hair that mistook itself for a person.

I still do this! I don’t know how to stop!
