Mavis wanted me to type HER way, but I wanted to do it MY way. I tried and tried to do it her way, but finally just eventually taught myself to type the hard way - from muscle memory once AIM became a big thing and I had to type faster to keep my head above water in IM conversations.

I owe my life to Mavis! False or not, I learned to type!

They are almost certainly fine. But if they ever kill a bird in a spectacular fashion, or fall into the toilet after you’ve let the yellow mellow, or come down with a case of fleas that won’t respond to the usual treatments, or refuse to back down from a skunk encounter, or get old and are too fat/arthritic to clean…
