Ironically I have a pink taser that I carry ever since we fired a more than slightly disturbed employee and he made threats (this was well over a year ago)

I can usually avoid / ignore / dismiss most of their crap because they work in the field and I work in the office, but this week my skin has been too thin.

Pediatricians aren’t allowed to ask if there are guns in the home anymore. Basically before if you said yes they would make sure you had it stored safely and offer gun safety course information and how to get child locks and what not.

God I fucking hate him so much.

Those look intriguing, but my little huggle bug is already growing out of his 9 month clothes so I don’t think we would be able to get much use out of those.
We did swaddle at first - but he didn’t seem to either particularly like it or hate it - and he got so big so quick most swaddling blankets just didn’t cut it

My husband and I are very careful to avoid political conversations - especially in front of our kids- as he leans towards conservative views and I am a liberal and it usually leads to a fight. We are also very adamant about letting our kids decide their own political & religious ideas and try our best to answer…

We didn’t try a white noise machine, but we did try a fan in his room with a nice audible hum. Didn’t work :)

My first two were so damn easy. At about 6 months we put them to bed fully prepared to crumble when they cried for more than 10 minutes... and they both whimpered a bit the first couple nights and then went to sleep fine after that.

Its called Celebration and its pretty cooky. Kinda like Pleasantville - the grass is always cut to the same height, perfectly white washed fences and houses. During the summer everyone meets on main street for family friendly BBQ’s.
