This. Very much this. You get a LOT more car for the money when you buy ICE.

I’ve never been a fan of Lexus, but the recent GX redesign still causes low traction for my mental wheels. The GXs, as far as I remember, have always been stilted, awkward-looking monstrosities for rich suburban mommies. And then a month ago they release the Terminator, which is probably the best looking Lexus since…
Kinja. Dammit.
Another excellent choice. Here it is from a different angle. Just fabulous.
Great answer! My favorite was the Nissan/Datsun
Like Kyle Hyatt, I can’t see enough of the Ineos products. I’m almost irrationally happy whenever any news about the Grenadiers appears.
THIS was a good read. Thanks!
EV’s are being forced on people from the top down. Drivers in the meantime are aware of the slew of issues, from charging networks to range to battery replacement costs, with this emerging technology, and are wary. Rightfully so.
Yay. Yet another company that made all the buttons disappear from the interior.
I’m willing to argue the matter over a beer.
Oh, good. I needed an image to finish my chart. Thank you.
Slap a maple leaf on the door, and send a hundred of these to Canada to help with the million-acre wildfires up there, eh?
Micromachine is the first thought I had when I saw the lede image. You’re the wind beneath my wings for posting!
Nah. We love it because we can’t have it. IF it does become available Stateside, we’ll realize it’s just another exterior melted blob with too many interior screens and not enough actual buttons. Mercedes would sell twelve in the whole United States.
Based on my reactions to the GX and what I see on multiple car sites, you may be one of very few people in total who does not love the look of the new GX.
Watch it, Skynet. We’re on to you.
I’m flabbergasted at the design dissonance between the GX and simultaneosuly revealed TX.
I once owned a Chevrolet Lumina sedan as a poor college kid. Bulletproof engine, but the interior drove me nuts. The instrument panel was cheap plastic tacked on as a whole assembly to more cheap plastic. And at eye level, where YOU WILL ALWAYS NOTICE, was the connection line between the two different types of…
There are too many competing brands to stick with something that turns into a bad experience. For me, never again on Ford or Chrysler products. Long term reliability studies support my experience. Yes, YOU had a great Ford, but the tendencies are there.
There must be better ways. Whether it’s a few million or a trillion, that cost just gets added on to the bill Fracans and Mahas pay when buying the next product from that company.
