I do find it funny that all this talk and bluster regarding US production and sourcing (which I agree with) is coming from someone who drives around in an SUV built in Italy without any (or very little) US sourced parts.

Yeah, in some ways I think you are right. But one thing that I think that made the whole SRT-as-a-brand idea not work was that the SRT branded vehicles spanned across 3 different brands (Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep).  Had they been formally under one brand like Corvette is with Chevrolet and Ram was under Dodge before

I aslo disagree as well.  That Z71 looks really good.  Very clean.  I’m not particularly a fan of the all black face of the Trail Boss.  To me looks better than any of the mid-sizers out there, including the upcoming Ranger.

There was another Chrysler Tubrine car built, in 1977.

And this wasn’t just concept car hype either. Here’s photos of the running/driving prototype that was actually built along side the beautiful concept car that was paraded around the show circuit.

Definitely crack price. Knock off that 1 in the front.... but as a project. Hear me out.

A good quality vinyl wrap should last the length of a typical lease or the typical trade in time of a new car.  Specialty colors/finishes will decrease the time that the wrap will stay nice.

If you want/need a car now.. then black or white will have to do.  If someone is in a situation where they absolutely need to have a car and would prefer an actual color, a vinyl wrap is a great alternative.  For some extra coin, you can have the car in a lot of shades that aren’t even available from the manufacturers

1st Gear: On the freeways here in San Diego, speed limit is 65 mph. For 80% of the time, if you are going 65mph you are a rolling road block to the normal flow of traffic. Traffic is usually moving at 75-80 mph, and on some stretches like the 15 N up to Temecula and the 5 N through Camp Pendleton it is easily pushing

When it comes to the repair vs get something new(er), I tend to look at it in this regards. How many car payments is that repair going to be?

Neutral: Weekend plans are to make more progress on the suspension replacement on my 2001 Bullitt.

The Ford Mustang.

Given that the new Amarok is based on the Ranger, and comparing the spyshots of the Amarok with photos of the 2023 global Ranger...

My 2006 Magnum SRT8 is named Pam, after Pam Poovey from Archer.

They definitely take time. Whatever time estimate you have for it, double it (at least). My dailies have always been a little bit of project cars, but not extensive. I modify them (mostly visually), and the things that I’ve done to my dailies have always been able to be completed in a weekend.

The Fisker Karma has a footprint the size of the current Dodge Charger:

I actually came to post about the 300.  It may not be BMW/Mercedes levels of luxury, but for the price the $/features ratio is hard to beat.  Especially based on the criteria laid out in the article.  I’d rather have this big bruiser than a tiny 1 series.

I have to nominate the Buick Electra station wagon in Adventures In Babysitting.

DOH!  I did miss reading that part.  *SMH

“That E46 M3 below looks sweet, but why on Earth would I need two of them?”

What are you talking about? There aren’t two E46s in that pack, only one.
