Critical thinking is expensive, and very useful in the long term. Costs come in the form of pain (while reading the news), time (while talking to other that are like-minded to discover the next move) and effort (to take the next step).

The US has taken so many steps backward, and I will miss having this forum. For July 4 I thought I’d re-share this from Carl Sagan. We have the capacity to be so much more that we are, and we should celebrate a day of independence from the poison that surrounds us.
