I can vouch for registering in Texas. I tried almost three times, had to take two days from work to spend nearly 3-4 hours in line at the DMV. It’s a nightmare and I can see why low-income residents that can’t afford to take days off or stand around in lines all day often just say “F it”

STOP TRYING TO MAKE “POOL BOYS” HAPPEN...

It’s a replay so they are probably showing the running time still...a full 27 seconds after the goal

The Twitter link to the Michigan accent example is broken and now I’m disappointed because I really wanted to laugh at myself and family for talking like that today...

My blood boils when I watch Ingram and other dog-whistling nativists try and deflect their poorly-masked racism and try to save face by continually touting “merit-based immigration” as if winning a war of semantics will automatically explain away their thinly veiled bigotry...

An immigration system based on merit?

IIRC there was a scene in Season 1 where Maeve slashes Sylvester’s throat and makes Felix patch him up with whatever contraption Delos has in their first aid kids and he seems fine now.

Let’s stop pretending the MLS is “soccer”

Grantland did a bracket (like 4 years ago) of All-Time NCAA Tourney Villans or some shit like that and Duke players had their own region

I’m like 98.77% certain I’m the one who met Quinn in the bar. I’ll use any excuse to talk about being from Michigan when I see you wearing a Detroit Tigers hat even though you have it just because you like the old English “D” and your name is Dan. I’m the worst.

I would venture to argue that the foreign aid going to these “shithole” countries now actually do work and are not outdated as often perceived.

For those of you unfamiliar with Houston and the way the city sprawls with the lack of zoning, it’s amazing that she was found in a (relatively) decent area of the city and I am shocked no one spotted her earlier. I can’t guess what happened but if she lived in the Heights (per Twitter) and wound up down there I can

I’d be very interested in reading that article if you can locate it....

As a classic Millennial who found himself in the unenviable (yet increasingly common) position of using two four-year degrees to help angry, old rich people enjoy their meals to the best of my ability (for a decent amount of time, post-graduation), I found the “tip out” part of service workers experience the most

^ There is no way that Pappas Bros Steakhouse is better than Taste of Texas as far as quality (that salad bar!!!) BUT I’ve heard the owner is a super-right wing nut that donates heavily to politicians like Ted Cruz (unconfirmed, but totally believeable) and only plays Christian music (confirmed, I was ready to stick a

I am 30 years of age and I still remember practically every bully in our rural Michigan elementary school calling me “Jackie Chan” at some point while I was growing up there. I developed relatively thick skin so 90% of the time, I’d either laugh or brush it off but looking back, it made me realize two problems:
1.) How

I appreciate the advice on lucid dreaming but if there’s anything Will Byers taught me, it’s that I should run from the shadow monster and not confront my demons....thanks Bob.

Agree with everything you said, it’s a truly great game....however, as a Tigers’ fan, Game 163 was the only game that made me crawl into a deep, dark place which was literally the closet of a stranger at her house party where I watched the game and not leave until I was emotionally leveled out, about 4 hours later.

Nice one, Dad

Not a problem,

I’m glad I could offer some perspective. Everyone’s situations are different but there are similarities when it comes to circumstances like yours and mine that I hope that I can share. Hell, if I had known half of what I know now it would have made things incredibly smoother from both her end and mine
