Since the people who clean my house also own the business, I don’t tip them regularly, but at Xmas, I throw in extra $$ and if I ask them to do something extra like a Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeep Spring Clean, I’ll pay them whatever they ask, which is usually double what I normally pay. It’s reasonable.

Mine comes every two weeks. They strip beds and re-make them with clean sheets, scrub bathrooms (tub/shower, sink, toilet floor), scrub kitchen (sink, appliances, wipe down cabinet fronts), vacuum all floors and carpets, sweep and mop hardwood floors, dust surfaces.

Sometimes, everything gets thrown in one room and I say “it’s okay to skip that room, thanks.”
