My MIL used to unhook her washer from the water line and turn off the main water to the house before going on vacation. That seemed a bit excessive to me.

You can also check the “organic” or “natural foods” section if your store has one. Spices might be the ONLY thing carrying that label that is a bit cheaper.

You’re talking like hockeygrrl kicked this dude to the curb for this one thing. She states quite clearly that this was a longtime on-off relationship which we can assume was freighted with various small irritations and that this particular “data point” was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
