Obvious joke is obvious, but: I see collaborative possibilities between Brabus and Tata Motors.

Still on that “deadliest train” soapbox, eh? If anyone drives around a closed gate, that’s on them. The number of street level crossings has no bearing on the accidents as they all have gates and a lot of visual and audible signals. And you have to remember (from someone who lives here) Florida has its own special…
Can attest. Did this for my ‘01 Miata and used some steelies for my Blizzaks. At the time had a townhome with a finished basement and plenty of storage space. Easy enough to throw them on at any hint of an upcoming snow storm and to put back on my regular tires once the snow was gone. Car drove like a little…
Because this is how my mind works, my biggest question from these campaigns is always “What happens to those ginormous bows??”.
It’s unfortunate that the Jalopinions video about discontinuing the Model S embedded in this article with autoplay shows an animation of two cars colliding and exploding....
Gee, thanks! Another one of those idiotic YouTuber overly dramatic reaction shots. Go back to acting school, fool!
I’ve had a (thankfully) small number of situations with other aggressive drivers repeatedly trying to cut me off or brake check me, and I pointed in a very exaggerated manner to my front dashcam and then did the fingers to the eyes and then to them “I’m watching you” motion...in all cases, they raced away after…
My very first brand new car was a first production year Dodge Neon. After dealing with constantly breaking down used vehicles, it was a huge relief to have a fairly reliable car even if, yes, it was generally pretty boring. Never really had any trouble with it in the 6 years I owned it, other than learning the hard…
The cinematic lighting and camera angle on that header video clip evokes a Steven Spielberg movie for me....maybe one set in a idealistic imaginary time where people own planes and not cars for transport.
Ugh—that Cadillac Cien concept in the main photo...from that angle, looks like one of those invasive frogs with the wide set eyes.
Not 2014, but relatedly:
It is indeed in bad taste to comment on someone’s physical appearance, but since someone isn’t born with their hair style: WTF year is this? Wadsack’s hair looks like Dollar Store Elvira and her colleague Griffin needs to lay off the Flowbee.
As others have pointed out, CarPlay in its current existence doesn’t replace the existing vehicle’s infotainment system. It simply exists as a secondary option, just like Android Auto. In my vehicle, there’s a icon in CP that immediately takes me back and into the OEM system.
Portrait vs landscape may be the #1 reason why TikTok gets me so irritated.
Definitely agree with illegality for on-street usage. I could see this being attractive to certain personality types for wedding party transportation, and that then makes me think of the terrible wedding limo and golf car accident fatalities in the last decade. This has barely any safety features.
From my first car as a teenager, I was amazingly good about oil changes but absolutely terrible about tire pressure, rotating and general tire care. Took a scary situation with a disintegrating tire at highway speeds to knock some sense into me. Even now with TPMS, I am meticulous about maintaining the proper…
Maybe it is just where these photos were taken in the larger parade, but I expected a bit more fabulous parade route and especially in Los Angeles. Looks like a rather dated small downtown of some nameless city.

There are constant idiotic posts on “neighborhood” apps with people upset because “Watch out Shady Pines area! Assholes broke into my car!!!” Either they stupidly share that they left the keys in their unlocked car or do so once questioned by commenters, but then it gets pointed out to them that no one actually…
Went down this same rabbit hole recently. Seems charming and idyllic on the surface for sure. But now watch the videos where owners actually show the amount of work that goes into having and maintaining one, plus what it takes to pilot. The need to manually raise and lower canal bridges was eye opening—that, and…
