Assuming you’ve acquired better hardware in the last 24 years, Alpha Centauri is $6 at GOG.

It is not true that an effigy of a short man with giant ears and wearing lifts was hung inside the dragon’s mouth.

I have extended my streak of “installed this game on every computer I own”, and I’m currently playing my GOG copy of Alpha Centauri on my Steam Deck. (Civ VI is also installed on the Deck, but I haven’t gotten around to trying it yet.  Maybe later.)

That was “established” in a series where many versions of Loki looked nothing at all like Tom Hiddleston. There should be a parallel universe somewhere where dozens of Tom Hiddlesti talk about their previous encounters with Kangs who all look different. (And one is a frog.)

I get this. But I also get “go buy the sandpaper first, and also a 1TB 2230, so that I only have to go in there once.”

I worked at one of the Six Flags parks decades ago. Here’s how “state inspection” worked then:

Wow, that top photo.  Rat DisOnnes (yes, it’s an anagram, and perfectly appropriate) is really showing his lust for Mickey’s cheese.

Elastigirl, Wreck-It Ralph, Lightning McQueen, Ahsoka, Buzz Lightyear. And now Hawkguy.

I do not envy the stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy-looking flerkenherder that has to keep them all together.

Hey, it’s David Spade!  Remember when he was funny?  Man, that was a great week.

“...it’ll be compatible with ASUS’ existing external GPU/power supply unit (the ROG XG Mobile eGPU) used by its laptops.”

The problem is, every attempt to describe “Disney’s metaverse” ends up sounding like a pitch for Disney Infinity. Iger already killed that shit once, he wasn’t going to let it come back from the grave.

Exactly this.  He should have been shown the door the day the ink dried on the Marvel purchase.

Maybe he accidentally interviewed Orson Scott Card?

The weakest link in almost every security chain is the squishy meat bit.

I’m enough of a geek (and enough of a foot-sweater) that I have no problem with the socks/sandals combo.

“Other hardware accounts under the Linus media conglomerate were also hit, including Techquicke and TechLinked.”

I’ll be honest. I wasn’t expecting a lot from Lindelof. I just figured it would be LOST... in space.

Sony is doing so much projecting, they’re practically Republicans.

Maybe he’ll get a starring role in “Governor Dumbo”, the elephant with the giant ears who flies around the state making sure nobody wakes up.
