Lyft with AV should be cheaper than Lyft with a driver.

Some of us still aren’t entirely sold on the concept.

Because I keep begging Torch to interview this guy whose obsession started with a Pacer:

Thanks for my first literal LOL today. And the day’s over. Sad.

My theory is this: the JK’s front-end was so ghastly boring that owners were desperate to make it interesting again.

I do, as often as I can (>80° typically).

Nice. I’ve been meaning to contact Bestop and inquire whether the new soft top will be backported to TJs, but even if so the LJ install base is probably too small to make it worthwhile.

I had a Golden Eagle encounter in Florida this weekend.

I’d consider that (but with doors definitely on) except for the fact that there’s almost no way to zip the top back on when it’s that cold. I can barely do it when it’s 70°.

I’d like to ask a Jeep engineer that myself, but I suspect the answer is that there’s no great alternative.

The doors are also a huge part of the aftermarket options for Jeeps, so it only makes sense to share between Wranglers and Gladiators.

Just a few miles from this amazing scene.

With or without the externalities we don’t currently price into gasoline?

Use multiple cars. One charges while one runs, maybe up to 3 or 4. Boom, problem solved.

This guy uses his to tow boats!

I was trapped in my own driveway when I drove my Civic Si into it during a snowstorm and got high-centered. Spent a few days stuck at home rather than try to sort that out.

As much as I love my 4wd, I can’t help but be a bit envious of people who can drive in mixed conditions without worrying about their drivetrains binding up.
