Soooo people can play locally? I mean that should be obvious right.

I know this is a joke but talking Chronicles X specifically, that game was pretty tame compared to its successor (and predecessor, to an extent).  And I’m actually pretty agreed, this game does give off hella X vibes, both from an atmospheric and character design standpoint.

You can only play as the guy but your hero avatar, which is basically the in-battle representation of your character (should you choose to use them) can be a female.

My thoughts exactly. I remembered seeing it on the Steam upcoming and new and trending lists but that was about it. There might have been marketing done but honestly I don’t think I’ve heard a single person mention it, moreso out of ignorance (because how could they even know) than lack of interest.

Honestly

I say give it time, honestly. I was one of those people that played the game just before its popularity reached a fever pitch and was happier for that, after the fact everything was out there, the characters, the choices, the music, the jokes- it was a mess.

The joke doesn’t really fit when you consider exactly how long Pokemon Essentials has been around, there was no warning sign for this, especially when paired with the fact that it’s not really a game like Uranium or Prism were (though the later is a hack).

Welp, time to crack out the ol’ downgrader.

Honestly I would be surprised if this wasn’t how it went down

I dunno about that. Generally in the case of fighting games, at least competitively, it’s rare that people will play favorites on matters of the meta and efficiency. Vegeta certainly isn’t the most popular character in Dragon Ball and there are others who, if popularity were the major factor, would have had this

He always had it, just a kinda identifying character trait

That Platinum remix that played as an insert was just a straight punch to the heart, such great placement.

For the interested, the thumbnail is from The Animatrix, one of the prequel segments.

>Opinions

Is it really that creepy? Because when you put it in the context of it being her father, doesn’t it makes sense that his daughter would want to portray him the way she saw him? That sort of idolization isn’t uncommon, and I also don’t think it has any incestuous connotations. It’s kinda cute, honestly.

What the hell is a bad opinion?

Really, though, the QoL changes are easily the true heroes of 4.1

I’d be down with a UDG2, to be honest. The game had a lot of heart and was surprisingly good despite the sudden genre shift. It was certainly better than it had any right to be.

Um...why didn’t they just alter the design?

Dunno why that Life in Aggro had me giggling like a fool
