I definitely agree with you on the part about joke reviews massively outnumbering actual reviews and opinions, and I think about it pretty much whenever I go to see the reviews of a game. Finding a real one that’s actually good is like finding a needle in a haystack.

They’re not selling you an incomplete game. You buy a full game and you get to add onto it as you wish. It’s really not all that different from the marketing of real life LEGO sets.
