Interesting he mentioned San Francisco. I grew up there and I’m around Todd’s age and I remember not seeing a lot of racism (compared to other parts of the country later on in life). Of course we had lots of hippies and lots of gay people so there’s that.

My kids had to drive on public streets with their examiner. While it’s anything but comprehensive it allows the examiner to decide if the kid is a true road hazard or just a new driver.
